- photographs voluntarily shared by clients

Only information necessary to complete the storytelling process is collected.
How Information Is Used
Information shared with Life Chapters is used solely for:
- scheduling and communication
- conducting interviews
- creating written keepsake chapters
- preparing digital or printed story materials
- reviewing and revising story drafts with clients
Your stories will never be sold, shared, or publicly used without your written permission.
Confidentiality & Respect
All conversations, recordings, transcripts, drafts, and final materials are treated as private and confidential.
Life Chapters understands that many stories involve:
- family history
- grief or loss
- personal reflection
- health challenges
- difficult life experiences
Every effort is made to approach these stories with professionalism, sensitivity, and discretion.
Interview Recordings
Interviews may be recorded to help accurately capture stories and details shared during conversations.
Recordings are used only for the storytelling process and are not distributed or shared publicly.
Clients may request that recordings be deleted following project completion.
Story Ownership
Your story belongs to you.
Clients retain ownership of their personal stories and written keepsakes.
Life Chapters will never publish, share, or use excerpts for marketing, social media, testimonials, or promotional purposes without explicit written consent.
Storage & Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect digital files, recordings, transcripts, and written materials from unauthorized access.
While no digital platform can guarantee absolute security, Life Chapters strives to use secure and reputable tools for communication, storage, and file sharing.
Third-Party Services
Life Chapters may use trusted third-party services for:
- payment processing
- scheduling
- secure file sharing
- printing and book production
These services may have their own privacy policies and terms of use.
Printed Materials
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving written materials before final printing.
Life Chapters is not responsible for errors approved during the review process.
Emotional & Sensitive Content
Life Chapters is a storytelling and keepsake service — not therapy, counselling, legal advice, or medical guidance.
Clients remain fully in control of what they choose to share and may request the removal of sensitive details before final delivery.
